Scaling Agent Viability and Quality in India
Scaling Agent Viability and Quality in India is a pan-India scale-up project that aims to strengthen the ecosystem and improve the scalability, viability, gender sensitivity, and quality of BC agent networks in the inclusive finance space. Over a three-year period, the project will implement interventions such as expanding product offerings at BC points, enhancing availability and accessibility of agents in underserved areas, improving liquidity management, and increasing women’s participation in BC agent networks. The project aims to broaden the reach of BC models and provide better services to underprivileged communities by enhancing agent quality and expanding product offerings to enhance agent viability and increase the size of the agent network. This project is a collaboration between Grameen Foundation India and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF).
