DIVE – Digital Inclusion via Education
The Digital Inclusion via Education (DIVE) program was successfully implemented in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, impacting over 250,000 low-income individuals, with a particular focus on women and young people, to drive knowledge and usage of digital financial services in its first phase. An additional 500,000 people benefited during the second phase of the DIVE program. The program forged partnerships with financial and digital service providers as well as social impact enterprises to promote financial inclusion through GFI’s community-based women agent network, known as Grameen Mittra (GM). The evaluation objectives of this project are to assess the level of change in knowledge, attitude, and practice toward digital payments among the target population.
