About the Opportunity: GFSI is going to implement a largescale program titled GROW-Returns (Generating Rural Opportunities for Women to Win in Agri-entrepreneurship program for better returns) across selected districts in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and West Bengal . The overall goal of the project is to develop a scalable, community-driven, AI-enabled incubation model for rural women entrepreneurship, leveraging digital platforms and data-driven solutions to strengthen women-led enterprises, enhance smallholder productivity and incomes, and drive climate-resilient, inclusive agricultural growth. Over a period of two year, the initiative will enable 5,000 rural women to establish and lead profitable agri-based enterprises: On an average 1,000 – 1500 in each state and each serving approximately 100 smallholders. In doing so, the project will directly impact 500,000 farmers and target an average 20% annual increase in farm-based incomes, while strengthening women’s roles as last-mile service providers and market connectors in climate-resilient value chains.

Reporting and relationships: The position reports to the Regional Director of GROW-Returns project. The MIS manager will directly contact with field staff, and contractors related to the project for required data/information. The position will be based in Delhi/NCR with frequent travel to project location (80% travel in a month).

Essential Job Functions

  • Monitoring,  and analytics domains, using appropriate tools and technologies. project management, data management & analytics, relationship management, and project documentation.
  • Quantitative and qualitative research design and visualization methodology for different studies proposed in the project.
  • Document reports, insights and manage communication with different partners.
  • Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
  • Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.
  • Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.
  • Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards.
  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed for all the four project states – Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
  • Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Outstanding MIS management skills, with proven track record of achievement under a range of challenging situations and multi-stakeholder arrangements.
  • Proven experience as data manager
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern databases and information system technologies
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.)
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field
  • Ability to work with external & internal stakeholders.
