Capacity Building Expert

Status: Full Time Employee (1-year contract)

Essential Job Functions

  • Key Responsibilities
  • To conduct training needs assessment of AEs to identify existing skills and knowledge gaps.
  • To conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) and standardize the ToT modules, including digitizing them with
  • the support of Technology Integration Lead.
  • To provide support and mentorship to trainers in designing and customizing the various training modules for AEs and SHFs with guidance from various experts and program team based on training needs assessment.
  • To ensure conversion of various training modules and learning experiences into online / app-based modules with the support of Technology Integration Lead.
  • To ensure that the capacity building programs designed are gender inclusive, considering the specific needs and challenges of women AEs.
  • To implement mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of capacity building sessions and support the program team in evaluating the impact on AEs’ performance through various tools.
  • To offer on-site technical assistance and mentorship to SHFs and AEs (apart from the support they receive from the Trainers), to enable them to apply the acquired knowledge and skills to their agricultural / business operations.
  • To facilitate networking opportunities for AEs to connect with other AEs in the program, industry experts, and relevant stakeholders, fostering a supportive learning community.
  • To promote digital literacy and empower farmers to effectively use technology tools for improved agricultural practices, productivity, and profitability.
  • To provide support to the team in preparing regular reports and document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories for internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Experience

  • He/ she should have 6 to 8  plus years of experience in FPOs strengthening especially on FPOs financial linkages and developing the capacity of FPOs to be a viable business enterprise, working with financial institutions etc.
  • The minimum qualification would be MBA/PG in Rural Management/Development/Social sciences/Finance a reputed institute.
