Anchoring BC Sakhi’s for Financial Inclusion

Anchoring Business Correspondents (BC) Sakhi’s for Financial Inclusion (FI) project in Uttar Pradesh, provides technical support for training and capacity building on financial inclusion, with Airtel Payments Bank (APB) serving as the financial and banking partner. The project has covered 11 districts and 103 blocks in the state of Uttar Pradesh, with the goal of capacitating 8,000 women as BC Sakhi’s. These BC Sakhi’s will work towards promoting financial inclusion and expanding the BC network in all project villages, facilitating doorstep delivery of financial services. The project is a collaborative effort between Grameen Foundation India (GFI), Margdarshak Financial Services Limited, and Airtel Payments Bank (APB).
